Strategy &
Operations.

Channel setup, market expansion, tech stack, AI tooling, dashboards, KPIs, processes, competitor research, market analysis. Everything that turns scattered ecommerce activity into a coherent practice.

Strategy & Operations from Sector 106 is the senior thinking layer that sits above your ecommerce execution. We decide which channels to run, what tech to use, what to measure, and how to report it. You get a marketing practice built on 28 years of judgement, not a generic playbook.

Most agencies sell execution. We sell the thinking that goes around it. The senior judgement that decides which channel to add, when to enter a new territory, what tech to bring in, what to measure, and what's actually worth your money.

It's the work that gets harder to fake the more experienced you are. We've been doing it for 28 years across hundreds of consumer brands. We've seen what works at £100k revenue, what works at £10m, and what breaks in between. We bring that to your account.

Setup & Expansion

New channels.
New markets.
Set up properly.

We help ecommerce brands launch on new channels and into new markets without burning three months of budget figuring out the basics. Campaign structure, attribution, audience targeting, creative formats. We've done it before. We compress the learning phase to weeks.

It's the work that gets harder to fake the more experienced you are. We've been doing it for 28 years across hundreds of consumer brands. We've seen what works at £100k revenue, what works at £10m, and what breaks in between. We bring that to your account.

Examples of channels we've set up:

01

TikTok Shop. We launched Balmonds on TikTok Shop and brought in 1,806 net-new customers in 12 months. 96.9% of them new to Balmonds entirely.

02

Klaviyo email infrastructure. Welcome flows, abandoned cart, browse abandonment, post-purchase, win-back. We audited Rainbird's account and found A$8,000/month of unrealised email revenue.

03

Amazon Ads. Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, DSP. Direct or via Adbrew. Live for Nailberry UK + US, and Balmonds Skin Salvation 120ml (where we ran a 7-tactic push when the buy box returned).

04

New ad platforms. Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, Reddit. We'll tell you which is worth your money before you spend it.

05

Subscription infrastructure. Recharge for Balmonds: 1,248 active subscribers, £15,720 MRR, 78% repurchase rate, £141 average subscriber LTV (3.9x higher than one-time buyers).

06

US expansion from a UK base, or vice versa. Currency, tax, shipping, market fit, attribution, localisation. Multi-store vs Shopify Markets. We'll tell you which fits your business and explain why.

Technology & AI

The right stack. Used properly.

The ecommerce tech stack is exhausting. Hundreds of Shopify apps, every Klaviyo competitor pitching automation, every CRM offering AI. Most of it is noise. Some of it changes the economics of your business.

We help you choose what to add and what to ignore. We've actually used most of it.

A real client example

We built Nailberry a complete reporting stack. Looker Studio dashboard with weekly KPI bands (GREEN under 35%, AMBER 35–45%, RED over 45% spend-to-sales), automated weekly and monthly PDF reports, Power My Analytics Shopify connector, GA4 alongside it. The whole system runs itself.

Operations & Reporting

Numbers that make decisions easy.

Every ecommerce brand has too much data and not enough clarity. We fix that. We build the dashboards, set the KPIs, design the reporting cadence, and write the processes that turn raw numbers into decisions.

A real client example

We track Nailberry against a 30% spend-to-sales target. The dashboard shows the daily ratio with traffic-light bands. April 2026 came in at 28% (GREEN). When it hit 40.8% earlier in the year, we paused three campaigns and got it back inside a month.

 Insight

Knowing what your competitors are doing. And what your market is doing.

Half of strategic work is knowing what's actually happening. Outside your account, outside your tools, outside your immediate competitive set. We do the research that takes operators out of the day-to-day and lets you make good calls.

01

Competitor audits.

Full breakdown of how your top three to five competitors are positioning, pricing, advertising, and converting.

02

Battlecards.

Sales-ready summaries you can use to differentiate in a pitch.

03

Market analyses.

Sector reports with sizing, trend data, and consumer behaviour.

04

 Brand audits.

Homepage, conversion paths, messaging, claims, regulatory compliance.

A real client example

Two market trend reports for Nailberry: UK Nail Polish Ecommerce Trends 2026 (16 pages) and UK Nail Treatments Ecommerce Trends 2026 (18 pages). Both are branded deep-dives covering market sizing, search volume, colour trends, consumer behaviour, brand landscape, and strategic recommendations.
