If you are a social media expert, love planning and executing exciting content campaigns both on social platforms and with external content providers then this may well be the perfect role for you.

As a Sector 106 Social Media Manager you’ll manage always-on content across Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube. You’ll develop strategic content plans, creat best-in-class content, engage with influencers, explore growth and engagement opportunities through social listening tools, and attend client meetings to appriase, plan and report. 

This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced social media professional to join an exciting new agency working with a select group of household brands.

Day to day activities

  • Lead engagement strategy on owned platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube and future platforms
  • Take ownership of clients social accounts
  • Keep abreast of changes and developments across social media platforms
  • Understand each clients tone of voice and current messaging requirements
  • Work to agreed KPIs
  • Set up and maintain Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube and Facebook channels
  • Plan content calendars
  • Work on engaging text, image and video content
  • Source and manage third-party content creators
  • Manage ad campaigns on Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest
  • Use Sprout Social to create posts and make content available for sign-off
  • Schedule content campaigns
  • Track effectiveness of tactics and refine accordingly
  • Respond to comments and customer queries in a timely manner
  • Liaise with internal customer team regarding customer interaction
  • Competitor analysis and benchmarking
  • Monitor and report on customer feedback and online reviews
  • Liaise with Development and Sales departments to stay updated on new products and features
  • Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends
  • Organize and participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness e.g. Influencer programme, Press Days
  • Understand the importance of National Events/Retail/Marketing calendar
  • Coordinate and collaborate with Marketing, PR and Communications teams to ensure brand consistency
  • Devise, plan and execute competitions to meet agreed marketing goals
  • Ability to interpret website traffic and online customer engagement metrics
  • Attend meetings on the telephone and in London
  • Researching social media analytical tools
  • Building a process to analyse content campaigns
  • Attend meetings at client’s offices

Time:

  • 2-3 days a week to start (splitting time between working at home, Sector 106 hub and at client’s offices)

The person we are looking for:

  • Social media professional with commercial social media experience (please only apply if you have either agency, freelance or client-side experience)
  • Currently in a social media role 
  • Team player – you will work on projects as part of a combined Sector 106 and client team
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and ability to manage multiple complex projects
  • Happy to work at home in our hub or in clients offices
  • Driven individual who is looking for an opportunity to build something
  • Ability to negotiate and demonstrate flexibility on the job
  • Commercial experience
  • Happy to work with text, images or video, providing creative input into the planning and building stages
  • No agencies
